A broadcast email is a single message that is sent to a large number of subscribers or recipients. It is usually used to make announcements, promote, make newsletters, or updates. Opposite to targeted campaigns, it delivers a wide audience, such as a whole list or a large part of the audience, at a time. It is chosen by the sender and is an effective method. In some messages, like sales or events, businesses take advantage of personalized aspects by using the name of the recipient. This is to increase levels of engagement in these bulk messages.
