Marketing Testing

« Back to Glossary Index

Marketing testing lets businesses try products, campaigns, or features on a small scale first. They do this before a full launch and check customer reactions to find flaws. Common types include A/B tests. In A/B tests, two versions of an ad or page compete. Multivariate tests mix many changes at once, whereas user tests use focus groups for input. Other types cover simulated markets, regional rollouts, or beta trials. This lowers risk. Teams track clicks, sales, or feedback metrics. They adjust based on real data and sharpen offers for top results.
